This position offers a remote work environment, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured schedule that ensures consistent patient interactions. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The remote structure is designed to facilitate efficiency and client-focused service delivery, while also supporting the therapist’s professional growth and well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client symptoms and determine the severity of mood disorders, utilizing standardized tools and patient interviews.
• Collaborate closely with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and circumstances, ensuring active participation in their therapeutic journey.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.
• Provide psychoeducation for clients and their families, assisting them in understanding mood disorders and empowering them with effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor clients’ progress regularly and make informed adjustments to treatment plans during sessions based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, facilitating integrated treatment options and medication management as needed.
• Remain current with research and developments in mood disorder treatment, subsequently incorporating these insights into practice to enhance client care.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately and confidentially in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative environment and share insights regarding best practices.
• Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues and representing their needs in various forums.

This role specifically focuses on adults and adolescents facing mood disorders, which may include depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The diversity of our clientele ranges from individuals experiencing acute crises to those seeking long-term therapeutic relationships for chronic conditions. Your empathetic and informed approach will be essential in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• Possession of a current and valid California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• Proven expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with hands-on experience in treating mood disorders.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build effective therapeutic relationships with a diverse client base.
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to support integrated treatment strategies.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a demonstrated track record of successful outcomes in treating mood-related conditions.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and the ability to connect clients with relevant support services.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
