These jobs are often offered by companies based in the U.S. or international employers who prefer to pay in USD. Common remote USD roles include software development, customer support, writing, and design. Working remotely in USD can provide access to higher salaries and greater flexibility for people living outside the United States.

We're looking for a driven Mid-Market Account Executive, Public Sector (SLED) to join Procore's growing Sales Team. In this role, you will lead new account acquisition across State, Local, and Education (SLED) agencies in the Northeast. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to public sector leaders, demonstrating how Procore's world-class construction management platform modernizes infrastructure projects, drives operational transparency, and maximizes public funding.

This is a hunter role focused on driving new revenue, orchestrating complex partner ecosystems, managing government buying cycles, and delivering strategic value to state and local agencies.

  • C-Suite & Director Engagement: Drive high-touch, consultative selling engagements with executive stakeholders, including Agency Directors, CFOs, CIOs, Heads of Procurement, and Capital Program Leaders.

  • Navigate Public Sector Procurement: Guide prospects seamlessly through government buying processes, including RFPs/RFIs, cooperative purchasing contracts, sole-source justifications, partner procurement pathways, and multi-layered approval chains.

  • Predictable Sales Execution & Forecasting: Maintain detailed opportunity records in Salesforce and deliver precise, accurate weekly and quarterly forecasts to sales leadership.

  • Solution & Value Selling: Conduct deep discovery and tailored product demonstrations to uncover customer pain points and showcase Procore's return on investment for public infrastructure projects.

  • In-Territory Presence: Travel within the territory as needed for key client meetings, partner co-selling sessions, industry conferences, customer presentations, and team offsites.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 5+ years of direct B2B Software (SaaS) and/or Cloud solution sales experience with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

  • Industry Focus: Strong background in Public Sector (SLED) sales is highly preferred.

  • Experience selling Saas Software and | or Cloud, enterprise workflow software

  • Partner & Channel Savvy: Demonstrated success working alongside partner ecosystems (GSIs, regional integrators, ISVs, and channel partners), co-selling, and orchestrating joint value propositions to solve customer challenges and streamline procurement.

  • Procurement Expertise: Proven ability to navigate public sector procurement vehicles, RFP processes, partner contract vehicles, and extended public-budget planning cycles.

  • Executive Presence: Outstanding communication and presentation skills with a history of building trust and credibility at the C-Suite and Director level.

  • Strategic Prospecting & Pipeline Growth: Demonstrated ability to independently build and scale coverage from 3x to 5x quota through disciplined outbound prospecting and territory mapping.

  • Location & Mobility: Must reside within the assigned territory (New England, New York, or New Jersey) and be willing to travel up to 25-30%.
