Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our remote team at Great Lake Counseling & Coaching Center. This is a full-time position where your expertise will be pivotal in providing high-quality counseling services to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. You will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based therapeutic practices while also ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being through various techniques and methodologies.
  • Formulating detailed treatment plans based on clients' needs, goals, and assessment results, ensuring that clients are involved in their own care planning.
  • Providing individual therapy sessions that cater to a diverse range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
  • Leading couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication skills, conflict resolution, and relationship strengthening.
  • Maintaining accurate and current client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring all documentation is compliant and completed in a timely manner.
  • Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to implement holistic care plans that address the broad spectrum of client needs.
  • Staying updated with the latest therapeutic practices and participating in ongoing professional development initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse population of clients including teens, adults, and couples. You will be responsible for addressing a wide variety of mental health challenges while respecting and understanding the cultural and personal backgrounds of each client. This holistic approach is critical to fostering strong therapeutic relationships and achieving positive outcomes.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to master electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, the following experiences are preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals and couples, particularly across diverse age groups such as children, adolescents, and adults.

Compensation and Benefits
