Our Community Health Clinic model means that you will be connected with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers including psychiatrists, social workers, and wellness coaches, enhancing the care we offer our patients.

• Conduct initial assessments with patients to evaluate mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate ongoing individual and group therapy sessions designed to empower clients on their journey towards mental wellness.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals when appropriate to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, treatment notes, and progress effectively.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and collaboratively strategize treatment approaches.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in mental health treatment through continuous education.

Our clients range from children and adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and adjustment issues. As a therapist, you will be expected to apply culturally responsive therapeutic approaches to address the unique needs of each client, fostering resilience and personal growth.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is required.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in mental health counseling with a demonstrated track record of effective therapy.
• Understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Ability to implement both individual and group therapy sessions with a culturally competent approach.
• Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and demonstrated skills in managing challenging scenarios calmly and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation.

• Experience working within a community health setting is a plus, highlighting an understanding of the unique dynamics of underserved populations.
• Prior experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and technologies to deliver care remotely is desirable.

The annual salary for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our center offers a generous sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
