We are currently seeking a Sr. Test Lead - Plex to join our team in San Diego, California (US-CA), United States (US).

Test Lead - Plex

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing Strategy & Plan
  • Create and manage the overall testing approach, schedule, scope, resources, and milestones.
• Test Scenario & Script Development
  • Ensure end-to-end business processes are covered with complete test scenarios and scripts.
• Test Execution Management
  • Coordinate SIT, E2E, regression, and UAT testing activities across business and IT teams.
• Defect Management
  • Run defect triage, track issue resolution, escalate risks, and drive defects to closure.
• Business User Testing (UAT)
  • Lead UAT preparation, execution, training support, and signoff activities.
• Data Conversion & Integration Validation
  • Validate converted data and test integrations between Plex, LN, Windchill, and other connected systems.
• Status Reporting & Leadership Communication
  • Provide testing metrics, defect trends, risks, readiness assessments, and executive status updates.
• Go-Live Readiness
  • Assess overall testing completion and provide go/no-go recommendations.
• Cutover & Hypercare Support
  • Support cutover testing, production validation, issue management, and post-go-live stabilization.

Required skills:

• 8+ years of overall experience in test planning/strategy, execution & management
• 3+ years leading testing activities in Plex MES or equivalent MES platforms
• 5+ years of experience with SIT, UAT, End-to-End Process Testing, and Cutover Validation
• Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $75,168.00 to $130,500.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
