Job Summary

The Treasury Management Officer plays a critical role in driving new business growth and strengthening existing client relationships. This position requires a proactive, consultative approach to sales and service, ensuring clients receive tailored Treasury Management solutions that align with their financial goals and operational needs. Office location for this role is flexible and may be location in Houston (Katy Freeway), Pasadena, or Texas City.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Treasury Management sales and prospecting strategy, identify client needs and effectively positioning the bank's solutions against competitors.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to strengthen client relationships, generate cross-sell opportunities, and refer clients to additional banking services.
  • Manage customer visits by maintaining consistent contact and building relationships that promote client loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Review historical ACH, Wire, and Remote Deposit limits for new and existing Treasury Management clients.
  • Oversee the fully sales cycle: draft proposals, deliver presentations, manage professional communication, gather implementation requirements, and support onboarding activities.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with Treasury Management clients; ensure solutions continue to meet client needs and partner with Relationship Managers to identify relationship review opportunities.
  • Educate clients on key security best practices and promote awareness of fraud-prevention protocols.
  • Maintain strong understanding of the competitive Treasury Management landscape and adjust strategies in response to market conditions.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Management Officers to support knowledge sharing, stay current on industry developments, and participate in ongoing professional training.
  • Attend HTMA events, annual TEXPO conference and participate in other industry related opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated success in direct sales roles in treasury or cash management capacity.
  • Travel to various locations for client meetings and other work-related activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail with high concern for data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey a positive attitude.
  • Analytical skills, problem solving and good time management.
  • Cooperation/Teamwork and patience in dealing with customers.
