Position: Corporate Treasury Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85–$100/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Build rolling 13-week direct cash forecasts with receipts, disbursements, and variance explanation.
  • Identify and net FX exposures, analyze fixed and floating rate risk, and design hedges against a corporate policy.
  • Produce hedge designation documentation with periodic effectiveness testing.
  • Analyze working capital performance (DSO/DPO/DIO), bank fees against services, trapped cash and repatriation options, and forecast leverage and covenant headroom.
  • Draft or refresh treasury policy covering liquidity, FX, counterparties, and investment.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years in a corporate treasury role at an operating company.
  • Hands-on with cash forecasting, hedging, or bank and liquidity management.

Preferred

  • CTP; ACT, AMCT or MCT; treasury management systems.

Assessment

  • A 13-week cash forecast from mock bank and receivables files; an FX exposure netting and hedge recommendation; a covenant headroom forecast.
