Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize evidence-based practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), delivering both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, guiding patients and families through trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate and ongoing safety.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available to support their healing process.
  • Diligently maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
