Our outpatient facility ensures that you have access to the resources necessary for effective practice, including cutting-edge treatment programs in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions tailored to help clients share experiences, connect, and foster supportive relationships.
• Provide Individual Therapy: Offer personalized counseling sessions, encouraging clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behavior patterns to develop effective coping strategies.
• Develop Treatment Plans: Collaboratively create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans with clients based on their unique needs and aspirations.
• Monitor Progress: Implement various assessment tools to evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, sharing insights and coordinating care to address complex cases effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with young adults between the ages of 18 and 30, helping them overcome issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. By employing evidence-based and holistic approaches, you will be instrumental in guiding your clients toward recovery and improved mental health. Your expertise will play a crucial role in nurturing their healing process and fostering resilience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Solid understanding of mental health treatment practices, specifically relating to young adults.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with young adults in outpatient settings is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
