About the Position

Golden State Warriors are looking for a developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will focus on internal web application, which serves as the primary interface for the basketball operations team. You'll work closely with data engineers and data scientists to build tools that make complex data accessible and actionable.

This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise while learning more about this growing sports and entertainment organization that values your initiative and dedication!

This is a full-time, remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain features for our internal basketball operations web application
  • Work with the application database to support new features and optimize queries
  • Collaborate with data science and analytics staff to design intuitive interfaces for complex data
  • Contribute to application architecture and code quality standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of front-end or full-stack development experience
  • Strong React and TypeScript skills
  • Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs
  • Proficient across multiple front-end frameworks
  • Familiarity with modern web development practices and tooling
  • Writes clean, well-structured code and cares about maintainability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical partners
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with business partners and peers at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
