• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health status of clients. Utilize evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect each individual's specific needs and recovery goals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), facilitating positive change and equipping clients with skills to cope with their challenges.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records to comply with HIPAA regulations, ensuring ethical standards and client privacy are upheld at all times.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated and holistic care for clients.
• Engage in routine case consultations and peer reviews to discuss complex cases and refine therapeutic strategies, ensuring high-quality care based on the latest research and best practices in mental health.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health practices and incorporate new methods into your work to provide the best possible care for your clients.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with adults and adolescents who present a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other psychological challenges. Your role is critical in delivering individualized care that addresses the diverse backgrounds and unique circumstances of each client.

• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for establishing therapeutic rapport and trust with clients.
• Proficient in applying solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex situations effectively, promoting progressive outcomes for clients.
• A commitment to collaboration and teamwork, valuing the contributions of diverse perspectives within a multidisciplinary setting.

• Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with cultural competency in mental health care.
• Skilled in utilizing various therapeutic modalities beyond CBT and DBT, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or mindfulness-based therapies.
