Key Responsibilities

As a licensed Social Worker with MSW-C, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions through secure video conferencing, ensuring a safe and confidential environment.
• Facilitating discussions that encourage clients to express their feelings and experiences, fostering self-awareness and emotional wellness.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, helping them set and achieve their personal and therapeutic goals.
• Evaluating clients’ mental health conditions and designing strategic treatment plans that are informed by your clinical expertise and a solution-focused methodology.
• Regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment strategies to match the evolving needs of your clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on stable, low-acuity adults seeking support for a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and life transition challenges. The goal is to empower clients by equipping them with skills necessary for personal growth and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and valid independent license as a Master Social Worker (MSW-C) that is free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills along with a compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for documentation, communication, and teletherapy sessions.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience in teletherapy, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and expertise in trauma-informed care or evidence-based therapeutic modalities will enhance your candidacy. Additionally, previous work with diverse populations can be beneficial.
