Our focus is on creating a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment that respects each individual's unique experiences and fosters trust between clients and therapists.

Work Environment

The work setting is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience while maintaining high standards of patient care through telehealth services. This arrangement enables our therapists to deliver mental health support effectively from their own home, ensuring a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. Our practice prioritizes a culture of teamwork, professional development, and mental health wellness for all staff members.

  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy approaches that focus on recovery from trauma and fostering resilience.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), aimed at assisting clients to navigate their healing journeys.
  • Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions which address trauma processing, coping strategies, and emotional growth.
  • Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to ensure holistic care that meets the complex needs of our clients.
  • Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during times of acute trauma, demonstrating crisis management proficiency.
  • Educating clients and their families about trauma responses and providing them with practical coping resources.
  • Maintaining meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Engaging in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance interdisciplinary cooperation and collective professional growth.
  • Staying current on relevant research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually refine therapeutic approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients we serve at Green Leaf are primarily individuals impacted by trauma, including survivors of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our ideal therapist will approach each patient with empathy and understanding, fostering therapeutic relationships that promote trust and openness. Our commitment to trauma-informed care ensures that every interaction is rooted in respect and validation.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist, or LCSW in the state of California.
  • Strong theoretical foundation in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering an environment of compassion and understanding.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while delivering patient-centered care.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused interventions and understanding resilience-building strategies.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Green Leaf Psychotherapy Services offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
