McKinley is seeking a solutions-oriented System Enablement Specialist – Yardi amp; Business Systems to support the enterprise applications and business processes that power our growing organization. This role focuses on troubleshooting Yardi and other business-critical systems, resolving data and workflow issues, and partnering with operational teams to improve how technology supports the business.
The ideal candidate combines strong problem-solving skills with business acumen and enjoys digging into complex system issues to understand why something isn't working. We're looking for someone who can connect technology, data, and business processes to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions. Direct Yardi experience is highly preferred, but candidates with experience supporting other property management systems (PMS), ERP platforms, or complex enterprise business applications are encouraged to apply.
Position: System Enablement Specialist – Yardi amp; Business Systems
Location: Remote - preferred locations near Ann Arbor, MI or Orlando, FL
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 annually with bonus potential
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key escalation point for complex issues involving Yardi and other enterprise business applications
  • Troubleshoot Yardi Voyager data issues, workflow breakdowns, system configurations, user access, and application-related challenges
  • Support Yardi products including YardiOne, Voyager, RentCafe, CRM, Chat IQ, and other related applications
  • Investigate complex system issues by understanding the business process, analyzing available data, and identifying the underlying root cause
  • Partner with business leaders and operational teams to understand challenges, document current processes, and develop effective system-based solutions
  • Identify recurring system and workflow issues and implement long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes
  • Utilize SQL and relational database queries to investigate system behavior, validate information, and diagnose data integrity issues
  • Analyze how data moves between systems and workflows to identify errors, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement
  • Document business processes, system workflows, troubleshooting procedures, and technical solutions
  • Recommend improvements to existing workflows and system configurations that increase efficiency, accuracy, and user experience
  • Support business-critical applications used across McKinley's property management and multi-location operations
  • Assist with system implementations, configurations, upgrades, testing, and company-wide technology rollouts
  • Perform user acceptance testing and validate system changes before deployment
  • Coordinate with Yardi and other third-party software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve escalated application issues
  • Manage and prioritize application support requests while communicating effectively with end users and business stakeholders
  • Provide secondary support for Microsoft 365, user access, and other corporate technology platforms as needed
  • Maintain compliance with company technology standards, data integrity requirements, and security best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Two or more years of experience supporting enterprise business applications, property management systems, ERP platforms, or other business-critical software
  • Experience supporting Yardi, YardiOne, Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, or other Yardi products strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting a property management system (PMS), ERP, CRM, or similar enterprise business application preferred
  • Property management, real estate, or multi-location operational experience is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex application, workflow, and data-related issues
  • Experience investigating problems beyond the initial symptoms to identify and resolve root causes
  • Experience with SQL or querying relational databases preferred
  • Experience documenting and analyzing business processes and technical workflows
  • Ability to understand how technology and system configurations impact business operations
  • Experience working with IT service management (ITSM) platforms or ticketing systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational needs and translate them into system solutions
  • Excellent written, verbal, and customer service communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Working Conditions amp; Physical Requirements
