• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, utilizing validated tools and methodologies to accurately gauge the psychological status and needs of patients. This involves gathering critical information that informs personalized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement effective therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, tailored specifically for patients grappling with complex emotions related to terminal diagnoses.
• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations as well as quality assurance policies. This documentation plays a vital role in coordinated care efforts across the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including registered nurses, physicians, and chaplains, to ensure comprehensive care that meets the diverse needs of our clientele. Regular interdisciplinary meetings enhance the quality of discussions and planning.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, attending webinars, workshops, and conferences, staying current with innovations in mental health practices and hospice care.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families about ways to navigate the challenges they may face, ensuring they feel empowered in their care journey.

We work with a diverse patient population encountering a variety of end-of-life issues associated with terminal illnesses. Our LCSWs play a crucial role in addressing the psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of these patients, fostering a supportive atmosphere that emphasizes dignity, respect, and personal agency.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, showcasing a commitment to educational excellence and clinical training.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote clinical practices to effectively manage virtual sessions.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance-based bonuses.
