Remote Teen Video Game jobs are positions that allow teenagers to work from home or any location with internet access, primarily related to video games. These jobs can include roles such as game testing, streaming, content creation, or community moderation. They are designed to fit a teen's schedule, often offering flexible hours and opportunities to gain experience in the gaming industry. Many of these jobs require good communication skills, a passion for gaming, and a reliable internet connection. Parental consent and adherence to age requirements may be necessary for certain roles.

AEO/GEO Specialist

Role: Hybrid - In office (4 days) | Remote (1 day) | Flex schedule (start and end times)

Foundation Software, a leading SaaS provider of construction accounting, estimating, payroll processing and field operations solutions, is hiring an AEO/GEO Specialist to strengthen our visibility across the answer engines that construction professionals utilize before ever reaching a traditional search results page. These include ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.

This role works within the parameters of our existing SEO strategy, partnering closely with our SEO Strategist, to ensure that organic, AI-answer, and paid visibility all pull in the same direction. This person owns AEO/GEO strategy day to day and reports to the Director of Paid Media for alignment on paid/organic messaging.

We're looking for someone fluent in AEO/GEO best practices and SEO fundamentals, who understands how AI models retrieve, rank, and cite content, and who's ready to bring that knowledge to a fast-growing B2B brand.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)

  • Structure content, on-page elements, and page architecture so AI engines can easily parse, trust, and cite Foundation Software and our full suite of products and services as a source.
  • Build and refine answer capsules - concise, directly quotable answers to the specific questions our audience asks AI tools.
  • Apply best practices so Foundation Software's product suite is consistently and correctly associated with the right products, services, and industry terms across the web.
  • Monitor how and where Foundation Software's product suite appears (or don't) in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews, and flag gaps or inaccuracies.

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) & Extractability

  • Audit existing content for extractability, ensuring it's structured so AI models can parse and cite it cleanly.
  • Track AI citation trends and best practices emerging, bringing new tactics back to the team as the discipline evolves.

Off-Site Mentions & Reddit

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to build Foundation Software's product suite presence and credibility in places AI models pull from - Reddit threads, forums, review sites, social media, and other third-party platforms relevant to construction professionals.
  • Monitor Reddit and other community platforms for conversations where Foundation Software's product suite should have a voice, and maintain a respectful, non-spammy presence.
  • Track brand mentions across the web, distinguishing valuable citation opportunities from low-quality or irrelevant ones.
  • Coordinate with the SEO Strategist on how off-site mention-building supports the broader entity and citation strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the SEO Strategist to ensure AEO/GEO work complements the overall SEO strategy.
  • Keep messaging and positioning consistent across paid and AI-answer visibility.
  • Report on AI visibility performance, citation wins, and off-site mention activity on a regular cadence.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing, ideally including exposure to AEO/GEO, structured data, or AI-search visibility (this is an emerging discipline - hands-on SEO experience plus strong self-directed learning is welcome even without formal AEO/GEO tenure).
  • Working knowledge of SEO tooling (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, etc.) and familiarity with schema/structured data markup.
  • Understanding about how AI answer engines retrieve, rank, and cite content.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to structure content clearly for both human readers and AI systems.
  • Experience with community platforms like Reddit, and an understanding of how to participate credibly rather than promotionally.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, comfortable tracking citation and mention data across multiple platforms.
  • Plain, contractor-facing communication style, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
  • B2B SaaS marketing experience preferred.

Other employee rewards include tickets to Cleveland sporting events, a variety of lunch and learns, and various employee-appreciation events throughout the year. Benefits include paid vacation, paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement, plus medical, eye and dental. Now offering discounts on pet, home, and auto insurance through Liberty Mutual!

Foundation is constantly recognized as one of Northeast Ohio's top workplaces. We are a 20-time winner of the NorthCoast 99 award, a multi-year winner of The Plain Dealer's Top Workplaces award, and have been recognized multiple years on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

Let us start your future at Foundation!

Foundation Software is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
