  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to query data using SQL.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to make informed product decisions by balancing business needs with technical considerations.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Databricks, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar cloud-based data platforms.
  • Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architectures.
  • Basic understanding of Java- or Python-based applications.
  • Experience supporting application modernization or legacy system migrations.

Job duties:

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and engineering capacity.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, architects, and engineering teams to gather, refine, and document product requirements.
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product priorities for Agile development teams.
  • Evaluate new business requests and determine the appropriate product or engineering team responsible for implementation.
  • Support the migration of capabilities from legacy applications to the new retail sales data platform.
  • Use SQL and data analysis to validate requirements, support product decisions, and understand business impacts.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze operational metrics, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with engineering throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of product initiatives
