Job Overview:
As a Technical Project Manager at CAI, you will coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the Point of contact for everything involving a project's delivery.
We're seeking a qualified and energetic project manager to help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. The ideal candidate will have production experience and exceptional skills in developing and executing work plans. The project manager will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical Analysis & Technical Triage/Troubleshooting
  • Triage complex technical issues across backend systems and services, utilizing a strong understanding of underlying data flows to analyze systemic impacts, assess severity, and manage the engineering escalation pipeline.
  • Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) on production anomalies and compile comprehensive post-incident technical reports.
  • Write and execute custom SQL queries on SQL Server databases to extract, validate, and analyze complex operational datasets.
  • Conduct cross-system data validation to ensure structural accuracy, integrity, and completeness of core project deliverables.
  • Oversee system deployments and operational maintenance windows in close alignment with developers and systems engineering teams.

Project Management & Execution
  • Drive management tracking and execution in Jira, actively managing the backlog, tracking active sprints, and reporting delivery status.
  • Translate complex technical findings and system constraints into clear, actionable insights for non-technical leadership.

Process & Configuration Documentation
  • Author configuration control documents in collaboration with Systems Engineers to maintain strict architectural versioning.
  • Map technical and operational processes to build structural runbooks and architecture documentation repositories.
  • Optimize Confluence knowledge bases to ensure reference materials are current, organized, and easily searchable.

Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technology-focused discipline.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience operating in a technical data analysis, product support, or technical project coordination role.
  • Database Skills: Hands-on proficiency with relational databases (specifically SQL Server) with the ability to write scripts from scratch.
  • Data Manipulation: Deep familiarity with MS Excel functions, including advanced formulas, data cleanup, and pivot tables.
  • Technical Literacy: Solid fundamental understanding of back-end systems, complex, fully automated data flows, and computing technologies.
  • System Debugging: Familiarity with reviewing server/application logs to track down software bugs or data pipeline failures.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
  • Exposure to incident management, production support, or operational troubleshooting environments.
  • Experience reviewing logs, debugging issues, and supporting root cause analysis.
  • Production Support: Prior experience working in high-pressure incident management, site reliability, or production troubleshooting teams.
