In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting therapy sessions with couples and family units, offering guidance and insight to improve relational dynamics.
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions that address personal struggles, implementing tailored therapeutic interventions to support growth.
• Designing and executing treatment plans targeting prevalent issues such as alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, grief, and significant life transitions like divorce or remarriage.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to foster effective communication and resolution skills among clients.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation for all therapy sessions to ensure compliance with health regulations and facilitate continuity of care.
• Participating in regular team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and improve the clinical services offered.

You will engage with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents who present a variety of challenges ranging from familial conflicts and communication issues to emotional disturbances and life transitions. Special emphasis will be placed on working with blended families, individuals coping with separation or divorce, and those dealing with grief and loss. Your ability to create a secure therapeutic environment will be crucial in helping clients navigate their barriers and achieve healthier relationships.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for establishing trusting relationships with clients.
• A compassionate demeanor and a nonjudgmental attitude, facilitating a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling you to balance a diverse caseload effectively.
