Position Overview

Solace Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you will engage with clients experiencing mood disordersโ€”such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxietyโ€”and facilitate their journey toward healing and recovery. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide treatment.
  • Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress to make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for each client.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma and supporting their holistic needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to, those facing challenges related to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This role also involves supporting vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. You will play a critical role in empowering these clients, guiding them through their challenges, and facilitating their access to necessary resources.

Qualifications
  • Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
