Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, offering you flexibility in your work setting while you engage with clients who may be facing various mental health challenges. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including TEAP specialists and medical staff, you'll work from the comfort of your home to create a therapeutic environment that nurtures healing and growth. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks designed to support clients' mental health needs:

• Conduct individual therapy sessions tailored to the client's specific emotional and psychological needs.
• Facilitate couples and family therapy to strengthen interpersonal relationships and enhance communication skills.
• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments for applicants and students, analyzing mood, behavior, reasoning, and other indicators of emotional wellness.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff and colleagues to enhance clinical practices.
• Collaborate effectively with TEAP specialists for short-term counseling and with the medical and wellness teams to create a cohesive care plan.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families who seek support for a wide range of mental health issues. By providing culturally competent and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, you will play a crucial role in improving clients' emotional health and promoting resilience. This position emphasizes understanding client backgrounds, circumstances, and their unique experiences to develop tailored approaches that foster long-term success.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A valid LICSW license to practice in Washington State.
• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a closely related field.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience working in a mental health setting.
• Strong communication skills, enabling the creation of a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.
• An active standing license with no suspensions or disciplinary actions as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Availability to work a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with additional training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar practices will be viewed favorably. Experience in behavioral health settings, particularly in community health or telehealth services, is also a plus.
