In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will have an array of responsibilities crucial for providing exceptional care:

• Deliver tailored individual, couples, and family therapy sessions focused on improving mental health and interpersonal dynamics.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' needs, which will guide the development of personalized treatment plans and realistic goals.
• Employ your knowledge of family systems theory to navigate complex relationships and foster healthier communication among family members.
• Respond to crisis situations promptly, providing immediate support and interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress notes, treatment plans, and confidential records in compliance with ethical standards.
• Teach clients essential skills in relationship-building, effective communication, and coping mechanisms to promote long-lasting resilience and well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including other therapists, clinicians, and medical professionals, to provide holistic care.

Candidates for this position must meet certain educational and professional criteria:

• Possession of a current LMFT licensure in Massachusetts.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed marriage and family therapist is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that ensure effective client engagement and relationship-building.
• Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality in all therapeutic endeavors.
• Ability to work autonomously while effectively integrating into a collaborative team setting.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients’ needs, including evening or weekend availability.

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings is preferred, particularly with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to marriage and family therapy.
• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
