Job description

Join a fully remote opportunity where you’ll help shape data-driven reporting, streamline workflows, and support internal teams with reliable access to actionable insights. This role blends hands-on data engineering with dashboard development, offering the chance to work across modern data platforms, automation tools, and cloud technologies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and improve data structures and pipelines aligned with business needs.
  • Support reporting and analytics solutions through dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Work with data lakes, data warehouses, and Databricks environments to organize and govern data.
  • Develop ETL processes and assist with data pipeline troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Create and support dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Design workflow automations, including Microsoft Power Automate, to improve efficiency.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and clear data flows.
  • Help analysts and internal stakeholders access, understand, and use data effectively.
  • Contribute to reporting, data quality, and monitoring efforts to support accurate insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Skills
  • Strong background in data engineering and pipeline development.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks workspace and dataset management.
  • Experience with PySpark and Spark SQL for ETL and data transformation work.
  • Dashboard development experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouses, and data governance concepts.
  • Experience automating workflows, preferably with Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Exposure to cloud environments, especially AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, VPC networking, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and KMS.
  • Understanding of IT operations, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure concepts.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance practices, including vulnerability management.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in a federal, regulated, or highly secure environment.
  • Knowledge of Azure concepts.
  • Background in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence support.
  • Experience building self-service reporting solutions for internal users.
  • Familiarity with automation for customer communications or backend processes.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
