Our client, a boutique tax firm serving clients from many professions and fields that focuses on complex tax issues, is seeking an Experienced Tax Senior / Preparer who is a resourceful and motivated CPA (or EA) to be the next successful member of their growing firm.  Their focus is serving clients for all their tax needs in addition to being a trusted advisor.

Job Description
  • Prepare complex Tax Returns of varying complexities for businesses (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065). individuals (Form 1040) and trusts (Form 1041).
  • Prepare tax projections/estimates as necessary.
  • Research tax questions as necessary
  • Interface with IRS and other tax agencies regarding client issues and audits.
  • Collaborate effectively and efficiently with all firm employees
  • Provide timely, high quality client service.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • CPA and/or Enrolled Agent license (or in the process of obtaining)
  • 3+ years of recent experience in tax and tax accounting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using QuickBooks and Lacerte Tax software.
  • Experience with Fiduciary Tax Returns
  • Experience with Individual International Taxes
