The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, exceptional client service skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, fiduciary, and other tax returns.
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, information requests, filing requirements, and tax planning opportunities.
  • Correspond with federal, state, and local taxing authorities as needed on behalf of clients.
  • Draft and respond to written tax correspondence and notices.
  • Assist clients with tax planning, projections, and advisory services.

  • Experience communicating directly with clients regarding tax matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

Work Expectations

The tax profession requires flexibility during peak filing seasons. During tax season, employees should expect workloads averaging approximately 45-55 hours per week based upon client needs, filing deadlines, and workflow demands. Outside of peak tax season, work schedules generally return to standard full-time expectations.
