As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions through video conferencing, aiming to enhance clients' mental health and overall well-being.
• Facilitating open discussions that encourage clients to explore their emotions and experiences, leading to the development of self-insight.
• Acting as a client advocate, helping them define personal goals and outlining actionable steps to achieve these goals.
• Assessing clients' mental health status and formulating tailored treatment plans utilizing a solution-based approach grounded in your clinical expertise.
• Collaborating with clients to track their progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary to ensure optimal results.

This role involves working with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health conditions, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral issues. You will play a critical role in providing individualized support that helps clients navigate their particular challenges and fosters a fulfilling life.

• A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must hold a full, unencumbered license to practice independently in Massachusetts, specifically as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• No limited/provisional licenses will be accepted, and candidates must have no adverse disciplinary actions on their record.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to effectively manage a personal caseload.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that contribute to building trusting client relationships and fostering an empathetic therapeutic environment.
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms necessary for remote counseling and client management.

• Previous experience in a teletherapy environment is advantageous.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy methodologies and their applications.
