Job description

Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team. As a licensed clinician, you will provide specialized mental health care to individuals navigating the challenges of trauma. This full-time role allows you to work in an outpatient setting where you can have a profound impact on the lives of those affected by traumatic experiences, helping them to find pathways to healing and resilience.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, located in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for trauma survivors. Our outpatient office specializes in treating various trauma-related conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We cultivate a multidisciplinary approach, working collaboratively to enhance the treatment experience and outcomes for our patients.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be 100% remote, offering flexibility and allowing you to provide care in a supportive virtual setting. Operating within a dynamic outpatient office framework, you will have access to necessary resources and a collaborative team that prioritizes trauma-informed care. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on the needs of your patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds, trauma histories, and emotional needs, allowing for tailored therapeutic interventions.
  • Design and execute individualized treatment plans focused on promoting trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in processing trauma effectively.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients navigate their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and support their healing journey.
  • Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to aid recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings while pursuing continued education to remain informed about the latest findings and best practices in trauma therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The target demographic for this role primarily includes individuals experiencing various forms of trauma, particularly those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health challenges. You will work closely with patients from varied backgrounds, ensuring personalized and empathetic care that respects their unique experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
  • A strong foundation in trauma-informed care, with demonstrated ability to apply trauma-focused intervention strategies effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
  • The capacity to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting post-licensure, preferably focused on trauma-related disorders.
  • Experience conducting evidence-based therapeutic interventions specifically for trauma recovery.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience. As a valued team member, you will also receive a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, a retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions, generous paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, professional liability insurance coverage, and opportunities for continuing education tailored to enhance your professional development.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we are invested in your growth and development. You will have access to various opportunities for career progression within our trauma-informed practice, allowing you to expand your expertise, take on leadership roles, and continue contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Why Join Our Team
