Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify and understand students' mental health concerns, strengths, and support needs.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and school personnel, to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to care.
• Conduct crisis interventions and risk assessments while providing safety planning to support students in immediate need.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation that meets the legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Facilitate psychoeducation classes and support groups aimed at equipping both students and families with tools to navigate mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus for this position is students within the school environment who may be struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Our target client demographic includes children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, necessitating a culturally competent approach to treatment. Your role will empower these young individuals to develop resilience and effective coping strategies as they navigate their personal and academic lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical skills and knowledge.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for this role.
• At least two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, with specific experience working with youth preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a solid understanding of treatment approaches relevant to children and adolescents.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, families, school staff, and the broader clinical team.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with federal and state regulations regarding mental health services in schools.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing mental health interventions tailored for young populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
