Job description

Position: HR and Recruiting Administrator

Status: Full-Time

FLSA Code: Exempt

About Us:

Verified First is a booming tech company on a mission to deliver cutting-edge technology, transforming how organizations protect their people. As a constant recipient of the "Best Places to Work" award, you can be sure we'll invest in you as both a professional and a person. We're looking for people like you — ambitious, hardworking, and fun — to join our team!

Summary:

As HR and Recruiting Administrator, you will lead day-to-day HR operations and own full-cycle global recruiting—from sourcing through onboarding. Beyond talent acquisition, you will manage HR support tickets, travel booking, purchasing, and recurring administrative tasks. This role is perfect for a process-driven self-starter who thrives on keeping departmental operations running seamlessly.

How our HR and Recruiting Administrator spends their time:

  • Manage full-cycle domestic and international recruiting—from initial job postings and candidate sourcing to conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and extending final agreements.
  • Coordinate global onboarding in BambooHR and Paylocity, managing background checks, compliance forms (I-9, W-4, policies), and secure document storage.
  • Prepare self-billing invoices for international contractors.
  • Maintain SOPs, fulfill employment verifications, and track company events, trainings, and anniversaries.
  • Coordinate executive travel and handle corporate purchasing as directed by HR and Finance leadership.

What you bring:

  • Voice ideas to leadership, balance independent work with teamwork, and model a servant-leadership mindset.
  • Tailor written and verbal communication for executives, international teams, and candidates.
  • Pivot easily between HR and admin tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage task queues, meet deadlines, and track metrics with high attention to detail.
  • Maintain strict discretion with sensitive employee, payroll, and financial data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business (or equivalent); 2+ years in HR administration preferred.
  • Experience with candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding/offboarding domestic and international staff.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, ATS, e-signature tools (e.g., HelloSign), and Google Workspace.

What we bring:

  • Work-life balance: Enjoy your free time with no nights or weekends, paid holidays, and paid time off starting on your first day;
  • Health: Save money on insurance with 100% employer-paid insurance premiums;
  • Growth: Continue to learn with continuous education, career pathing, and ongoing training. You won’t stall here, growth is part of our success;
  • Outstanding Culture: In our remote work environment, we prioritize team-building through engaging meetings and events, including town halls, Office Olympics, and culture conversations. These activities are vital for strengthening our connections and embodying our company values.

What are the next steps?

Our Talent Acquisition Specialist will be reviewing resumes. If you are among one of the qualified candidates you will receive an email or a phone call to schedule an interview.

Verified First is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. We expect all team members to have an understanding of, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
