What does a remote swimming pool designer do?

A Remote Swimming Pool Designer creates customized pool designs for residential or commercial clients, working entirely online or from a remote location. They use design software to draft plans, visualize pool layouts, and collaborate with clients through virtual meetings or digital communication. The role involves understanding client needs, ensuring safety and local regulations are met, and delivering detailed plans that contractors can use for construction. Remote designers may also provide 3D renderings, material recommendations, and ongoing support throughout the design process.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote swimming pool designer?

To thrive as a Remote Swimming Pool Designer, you need a solid background in landscape or architectural design, proficiency in CAD software, and ideally a degree in a related field. Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering platforms, as well as knowledge of local building codes, is typically required. Strong communication, creativity, and project management skills set top designers apart by ensuring clients' visions are translated effectively into practical designs. These skills are crucial for delivering functional, safe, and visually appealing pool projects while working efficiently in a remote environment.

How does a remote swimming pool designer typically collaborate with clients and construction teams during a project?

As a remote swimming pool designer, collaboration is primarily achieved through digital tools such as video conferencing, CAD software, and project management platforms. You'll often meet with clients virtually to discuss their vision and present design concepts, revising plans based on their feedback. Coordination with construction teams is essential, so clear communication and detailed documentation are key to ensuring your designs are accurately interpreted and implemented on-site. Being proactive and responsive helps build trust and keeps projects on track despite the physical distance.

Job description

At TTEC Digital, we coach clients to ensure their employees feel valued, and fully supported, because an amazing customer experience is an employee first process. Our vision is the same, a place where employees know they can thrive.
The TTEC Digital Google Partner Practice is a Google Cloud Contact Center Artificial Intelligence (CCAI) platform launch partner that can train, test, secure, deploy and integrate CCAI and the Vertex AI suite to produce multi-platform, data informed, enterprise solutions that fuel the exceptional employee and customer experience (CX).
We are seeking a Google Presales Solution Architect to join our team as a specialized cloud-native expert. This role represents a strategic expansion of our capabilities, designed to perfectly complement our existing Contact Center experts. This is a remote role, based in the US.
We are looking for a "True Google" technologist-someone deeply versed in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem-to act as an overlay and partner to our broader architecture team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to exchange expertise: you will help our current architects deepen their understanding of Google infrastructure (Compute, Security, Networking), while capitalizing on their mentorship to expand your own skills in Cloud Contact Center and Customer Experience (CX) strategy.
You will report directly to the Director of Solution Architecture and play a pivotal role in evolving our technical strategy, managed services offerings, and demo environments.
What you'll be doing:
Google Cloud Architecture & Team Enablement
  • Act as the primary technical overlay for the solution architecture team, bringing deep GCP expertise to complex pursuits.
  • Cross-Pollinate Expertise: Champion a culture of knowledge sharing by helping CCaaS-focused architects understand the broader Google ecosystem, while learning best practices in CX innovation from them.
  • Architect and deploy custom applications and AI agents using Google Cloud native services, including Cloud Run, Cloud Armor, and Compute Engine.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for quoting and pricing Google Cloud consumption, ensuring accuracy in complex cost modeling for clients.

Strategic Offer Development & Innovation
  • Collaborate with the Director of Solution Architecture to design and structure Managed Services offerings, helping us sell ongoing support layers alongside professional services.
  • Drive the integration of advanced capabilities, such as generative AI and predictive analytics, into TTEC Digital's solution portfolio.
  • Evolve and maintain a set of demo and POC environments to support rapid, robust, and bespoke demonstrations for clients, including enabling teams on how to deliver them.

Client Engagement
  • Collaborate with senior-level client executives to uncover business and technical needs, translating them into tailored, outcome-driven solutions.
  • Carry a Solution Architect workload that balances deep cloud infrastructure work with Contact Center solutioning, growing your proficiency in the Customer Engagement Suite over time.

Technical & Strategic Skills
  • Google Cloud Native Expertise: Proficiency in deploying custom apps and AI agents using Cloud Run, Cloud Armor, and Compute Engine is essential.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of Google Cloud pricing calculators, consumption models, and how to quote complex cloud architectures effectively.
  • Managed Services Strategy: Experience building or scoping Managed Services offers, with an understanding of how to structure support agreements that drive recurring value.

Professional Skills
  • Experience acting as an overlay or technical specialist within a pre-sales or sales engineering team.
  • A "Cloud-First" background with a strong desire to learn the Google Customer Engagement Suite and broader Contact Center technologies.
  • Proven ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

What you can expect
  • Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
  • Medical, dental, vision
  • Tax-advantaged health care accounts
  • Financial and income protection benefits
  • Paid time off (PTO) and wellness time off

$145,000 - $170,000 a year
