Job Description:

The Demand Planneris responsible fordeveloping,maintaining, and continuously improving the unconstrained demand forecast to support the company's SIOP process.In this role, you will partnercross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and Operations to deliver a consensus forecast that drives service, inventory, and financial performance.

AS A DEMAND PLANNER, YOU WILL:

  • Develop statistical baseline forecasts using historical data and analytics.

  • Maintain rolling 12-24-month forecasts.

  • Manage forecast segmentation strategies (ABC, product family, channel, customer).

  • Ensure forecast accuracy and bias targets are achieved.

  • Lead the Demand Reviewportionof the monthly SIOP cycle.

  • Present risks, opportunities, and forecast changes to cross-functional leadership.

  • Support executive SIOP presentations with clear data-driven insights.

  • Drive consensus alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

  • Identifyupside/downside scenarios and model impact on revenue and capacity.

  • Ensure forecast changes are clearly communicated to Supply Planning.

REQUIREDEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in demand planning or forecasting.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Strong understanding of MRP and demand planning concepts.

  • Proficiencywith ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite).

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Strong understanding of SIOP processes.

  • Analytical thinking and scenario planning

  • Attention to detail with a big-picture mindset

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
