This position is for a Supply Chain Professional who identifies, evaluates, and assesses risk events across the supply chain domain, including both external and internal factors. The role leads coordination, aggregates insights, and synthesizes actions across the business for leadership review. The individual will drive risk mitigation activities, influence enterprise alignment, and support strategic decision-making through analytical and operational expertise.

This is a remote position and may have the potential for up to 15% travel.

What You Will Do

  • Monitors, evaluates, and interprets external risk events for potential business interruptions.
  • Collaborates and integrates with SBU supply chain functions and Collins Enterprise Teams on risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Serves as a communication focal point, ensuring alignment of SBU risk actions across all functional areas.
  • Develops, prepares, and delivers executive‑level presentations on risk.
  • Represents and advocates for the SBU supplier risk position in enterprise and corporate risk initiatives.
  • Builds, develops, and applies analytical models to support risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Supports and validates system testing for risk tools and processes.
  • Extracts, synthesizes, and analyzes large datasets from Tableau and SAP to perform extensive risk analysis.
  • Tracks, manages, and drives risk events to closure.
  • Represents the SBU in customer audits as they pertain to risk.
  • Builds, strengthens, and maintains strong relationships across the SBU and supply base.
  • Acts with a strong sense of urgency in managing and responding to risk activities.
  • Executes and leads special projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

  • Experience with SAP

  • Advanced Excel experience

  • Experience developing and tracking recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
