• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Provide mental health consultations and collaborate with peers to create pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans that ensure timely responses to urgent patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring documentation is completed efficiently.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools to evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment methodologies as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with various teams and programs to implement positive behavior support plans and strategies aimed at maximizing patient outcomes.
• Actively participate in the organization’s licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the center’s commitment to high-quality service delivery.

The patients we serve at Summer Spring Psychotherapy Center encompass a wide demographic, including young adults facing emotional disturbances, individuals recovering from substance abuse, and clients with developmental or neurological impairments. You will play a crucial role in addressing both the clinical and psychosocial aspects of their care, facilitating transformative experiences that lead to recovery and personal growth.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
• Successful completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health environment is mandatory.
• Eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts as a mental health counselor.
• A valid driver’s license in good standing is required for potential client visits or community involvement.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish a quick rapport and trust with clients.
• A deep empathetic understanding along with the capability to provide structured guidance to clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and robust organizational skills are essential.

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings is preferred, ideally with a focus on individual and group therapies.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for substance use disorders and developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Experience in creating and managing crisis intervention plans.

The annual salary for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, eligible candidates will receive a sign-on bonus as part of their compensation package. Benefits include:
