The successful candidate will operate in a fully remote environment, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in delivering services to our clients. • Conduct thorough assessments of each client's counseling needs, integrating a multi-faceted understanding of their mental health and substance use issues.
• Utilize the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to diagnose substance abuse issues, determining appropriate interventions in alignment with ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) level-of-care guidelines.
• Craft the substance abuse counseling component of individualized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Develop comprehensive discharge and continuum-of-care plans, facilitating smooth transitions to the next level of care as necessary.
• Meticulously document all counseling sessions, educational interventions, assessments, and follow-ups within each client’s clinical record to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain an active caseload while coordinating case management tasks and updating treatment plans to reflect the progress and changing needs of clients.
• Facilitate intervention planning for crisis-oriented issues, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support to clients.

In this role, you will primarily focus on individuals battling substance use disorders, often experiencing co-occurring mental health challenges. Our diverse patient population requires a dedicated professional who can foster trust and rapport, ultimately guiding them toward long-term recovery and improved quality of life.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois.
• Demonstrated professionalism, cultural competency, and strong therapeutic boundaries.
• Self-motivated and highly organized with a commitment to client welfare and treatment efficacy.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in the field of substance abuse and mental health counseling, particularly with co-occurring disorders.
• Experience in community health settings or with populations facing socioeconomic challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation processes relevant to clinical settings.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, adjusted based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
