• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' histories of substance abuse and their mental health status, utilizing standardized tools and interviews.
• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying mental health issues, ensuring they are realistic and client-focused.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to enhance engagement and motivation among clients.
• Participate in regular case consultations with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure integrated care and address any emerging challenges in client treatment.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients' families, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process and equipping them with tools to aid their loved ones.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring all records adhere to regulatory guidelines.

Your primary focus will be individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique challenges and recovery paths. The therapist will need to adapt to varying levels of client readiness for change and ensure culturally competent care that respects individual differences.

• Must possess a valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Specialized training or direct experience in addiction counseling is essential.
• Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based addiction treatment practices and familiarity with co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills and a compassionate interpersonal style to engage and motivate clients effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work harmoniously with diverse members of the treatment team.

• Experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting, preferably in roles that utilize individual and group therapy methodologies.
• Familiarity with digital documentation systems and teletherapy platforms is advantageous in adapting to a remote work environment.
• Previous involvement in recovery programs or workshops emphasizing holistic and innovative therapeutic practices.
