While primarily remote, you will engage directly with students, educators, and parents via telehealth platforms. • Provide individual and group psychotherapy tailored to the unique needs of students experiencing various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate patients’ emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to inform treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to create integrated support systems for each student.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and designed to foster resilience and personal growth in patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress closely, adjusting treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Provide educational resources and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Maintain ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.

This role focuses on supporting students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may be navigating significant life challenges that impact their mental health. You will work with children and adolescents facing a range of behavioral and emotional issues, requiring a compassionate and tailored approach to treatment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• A minimum of two to three years of experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services, particularly within school or clinical settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, families, and colleagues effectively.
• Proficient clinical skills that include conducting assessments and developing treatment plans that are evidence-based.
• Experience with electronic health record systems and mental health software for managing patient data and care coordination.
• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and the challenges faced by students.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical practice standards in all patient interactions.

• Experience in school-based mental health programs or adapting therapy methodologies for children and adolescents.
• Demonstrated track record of effectively collaborating with educational staff in developing supportive interventions.
• Understanding of community resources available to patients and families for additional support.
