The Live Freely Psychological Health Center is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). This remote position enables you to leverage your expertise to make significant improvements in the mental wellness of individuals, couples, and families within our community. Your role will be central to our mission, delivering empathetic and evidence-based therapy to help clients navigate their mental health challenges.

Work Environment

As this is a remote position, you will be part of a virtual team that communicates through various digital platforms, allowing for a flexible and comfortable work environment. Our Community Health Clinic is dedicated to removing barriers to mental health services, and our remote structure is designed to facilitate your ability to deliver care wherever you are. While your primary hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be opportunities to adjust your schedule to best meet the needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as an LMFT, you will engage in the following key responsibilities:

  • Conducting therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, and families, tailoring approaches to fit specific client needs and circumstances.
  • Assessing clients’ emotional and behavioral needs through comprehensive intake interviews, clinical assessments, and ongoing evaluations.
  • Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on your assessments, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborating with fellow mental health professionals, including social workers and psychologists, to enhance the holistic care provided to clients.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
