About the Role: Brand & Packaging Production Designer
Step into a pivotal role where your creative and technical prowess will directly shape the consumer experience. As a Brand & Packaging Production Designer, you will be the bridge between initial design concepts and their flawless execution, transforming ideas into production-ready packaging and compelling brand assets. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, contributing significantly to every stage of the production pipeline-from structural feasibility to final file handoff. Key Responsibilities
  • Translate high-level design concepts into precise, production-ready mechanicals, meticulously applying brand guidelines, typography, color management, and layout specifications.
  • Create realistic packaging renderings, mockups, and digital assets crucial for cross-functional needs, executive reviews, and sales/marketing presentations.
  • Develop physical prototypes and mockups to rigorously test functional utility, refine designs based on feedback, and guarantee structural integrity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with art direction, product development, and production teams to optimize designs for scalability, mass manufacturing, and adherence to project timelines.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of production design experience, with direct experience in the beauty, personal care, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Deep understanding of pre-press processes, print production, dielines, substrate selection, structural design, and packaging materials.
  • Exceptional visual acuity and meticulous attention to detail in executing color theory, typography, and complex layout mechanics.
  • General familiarity with packaging and labeling compliance standards in the beauty/personal care sector.
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlines effectively.
