Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized psychotherapy to clients dealing with mental health issues stemming from substance use disorders.
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients’ needs, creating personalized treatment plans grounded in best practices and solution-focused strategies.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), specifically tailored to support recovery from substance abuse.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Collaborate actively with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to enhance care coordination and optimize client outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health and available resources, fostering awareness and empowerment in their treatment journey.
• Stay updated on the latest research and integrate new findings into your therapeutic practice to improve care quality.
• Effectively manage your caseload, meet established treatment goals, and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds experiencing a range of issues related to substance misuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role will be crucial in addressing unique challenges and developing strategies that resonate with each client’s specific circumstances, needs, and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, specifically focusing on substance abuse therapy and mental health interventions.
• Strong understanding of solution-focused and evidence-based therapy modalities.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities that facilitate effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a substance abuse treatment setting or familiarity with behavioral health systems will be highly regarded. Additionally, training in trauma-informed care and familiarity with telehealth practices will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
