The position offers an annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and caseload management.

As part of a digital health care provider, the counselor will utilize telehealth platforms to deliver counseling services effectively, ensuring accessibility and convenience for our clients.

The Virtual Mental Health Counselor will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities aimed at improving patient outcomes:

• Deliver psychoeducational sessions focusing on perinatal mental health, empowering clients with information and coping strategies.
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand individual client needs, determining the most appropriate interventions.
• Provide ongoing follow-up services to track client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage collaboratively in team meetings and case conferences, contributing to a holistic approach to client care.
• Facilitate individual sessions with clients, families, and relevant stakeholders to ensure a supportive network around each client.
• Build relationships with community organizations and agencies, serving as a client advocate to enhance social service access.
• Work closely with interns and volunteers, guiding their development while promoting center activities tailored to client needs.
• Create a referral network by establishing contacts with local inpatient facilities and community-based programs to enhance patient intake processes.

The ideal candidate will focus primarily on clients experiencing mental health challenges related to perinatal issues, including pregnancy, postpartum depression, and anxiety. This role requires a compassionate and understanding approach to supporting individuals and families navigating these critical life transitions.

• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, validated by a third party.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth counseling, especially in perinatal mental health, are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with community resources and a history of collaboration with health care teams will be advantageous.
