This full-time remote position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year. This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility to engage with patients through virtual sessions while also collaborating closely with fellow team members. Our outpatient office is equipped with advanced technological tools and resources to ensure you can effectively assess, diagnose, and treat your patients from the comfort of your home or designated workspace.

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess the mental and emotional needs of patients struggling with trauma.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coping strategies and guide patients through their therapeutic journeys, adjusting strategies as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Engage in routine consultations with patients to listen to their concerns, document their progress, and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide psychoeducation for patients and caregivers on stress management and trauma recovery techniques, enhancing understanding of coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources to advocate for patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.
• Stay updated on new therapeutic practices by completing continuing education courses required to maintain LMHC certification and enhance your professional expertise.

You will primarily work with patients who have experienced trauma, whether from personal injuries or other significant life events. Your role is central in helping these individuals process their experiences, manage their emotional responses, and develop effective coping strategies to lead fulfilling lives. By addressing their mental health needs, you contribute significantly to their overall well-being and recovery.

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly focusing on trauma-affected patients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to navigate EMR and Salesforce systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with patients and colleagues.

• Experience with EMR systems and Salesforce is highly desirable, allowing for efficient tracking of patient records and outcomes.
• A background in clinical settings that specialize in trauma recovery will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of community resources and healthcare agencies to support patient referrals and additional services.
