The Opportunity:

As an exercise planner, you will provide technical services to perform operational planning analysis, exercise support, and project management associated with efficient execution and management.
As a part our team, you'll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, creating rich content using Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint to help you tell a realistic story. You'll listen to client challenges in the Indo-Pacific region and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a space for recommendations that will make a lasting, real-world impact.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience planning and executing a Component or Joint Exercise Program
  • Experience with the Five Stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Army Design Methodology (ADM), and Joint Planning Process (JPP)
  • Knowledge of Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and the Office 365 environment
  • Ability to take an exercise from concept phase, produce a plan, and prepare and provide senior-level concept of operation briefs
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Graduate of a Command and General Staff College (CGSC) Intermediate Level Education (ILE) or Component Education

Nice If You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience at the Brigade level or above
  • Experience managing an exercise budget with multiple funding streams
  • Experience utilizing the Joint Training Tool and ARTIMS
  • Knowledge of the aspects of Multi-Domain Operations
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
