The Job:

The Associate Product Manager willassistin evaluating and developingthe Concrete PlacementProductsline sales and product positioning. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to effectively work with others across theorganizationincluding product managers,channel managers,brand marketing, IT,engineeringand customer service. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic that have experiencewithmanaging the complete life cycle of products, conducting market research, and a strong financial acumen.They should be comfortable on jobsites andworkingwith our end usersand distribution partnersto define workflows,identifyunfulfilled user needs andoppertunitiesfor product improvement.You'll get to:

  • With guidance, manages the complete product lifecycle process, alongside theSr.Product Manager, from concept to delivery.
  • Closely collaborate,workand lead cross-department teams and business groups, such as engineering, manufacturing, brand,channeland finance to drive and develop new products that meet companyobjectivestogether with the Product Management team.
  • Work in tandem withthe brandmarketing and channel teams to develop product launch programs and sales promotion programs.
  • Develop and implement relevant marketing collateral, point-of-purchase displays, advertisingmaterialsand web content to promote your managed product portfolio.
  • Conduct end-user and competitive market research todeterminepricing,marginand profitability targets.
  • Work with the Product Management team to develop and execute comprehensive short- and long-term strategic plans for a profitable retail and industrial product portfolio.
  • Maintain an awareness of trends in the industry and related industries and develop a deep understanding of the end users of their product line to incorporate these insights into successful new product launches.
  • Validation of Product CTQs, Testing & Claims with End Users
  • Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders.

The Person:

  • BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field, and or combination of relevant education/experience.
  • 0-3 yearsofProductManagement experience
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and lead teams.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunicationsskills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, research, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience using various computer applications including Microsoft Excel,PowerPointand other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a "can-do" attitude - the desire to goabove and beyondin all you do!

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consumer Products experience
  • Experience working directlycommercial end users
  • Experienceand/or comfortability navigatingcommercialjobsites and end users
  • Experience working directly with retailers or other large customers
  • Experience working for a large global company
  • Experience working in a matrixed reporting structure

The Salary range for this position is $51,700.00 - $83,300.00
