• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of clients to assess their individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans that may include therapy, counseling, or referrals to additional services.
• Educate both staff and clients on coping mechanisms related to stress and trauma, ensuring that everyone is equipped with practical tools for mental wellness.
• Monitor client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and circumstances.
• Provide ongoing support through check-ins and follow-ups, ensuring a continuous dialogue about the client's mental health status.
• Collaborate effectively with medical professionals, social service agencies, and community outreach programs to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Completed continuing education courses and maintain National Certified Counselor certification, demonstrating commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Utilize appropriate tools for assessments, identifying areas of concern in clients’ mental health and strategizing intervention techniques.
• Play an active role in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for optimal patient care.

The LCSW will primarily work with adults, adolescents, and children facing mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and emotional disturbances. The population served is diverse, reflecting the rich cultural fabric of Santa Rosa and surrounding areas. Clients may include individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of culturally competent care in reducing barriers to access and improving outcomes.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another relevant mental health field is required.
• Current and valid state licensure as an independently licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in technology and EHR systems is essential to efficiently manage client documentation and appointments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client interactions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and previous experience with Salesforce and EMR systems is highly desirable.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing direct clinical social work in a mental health setting.
• Expertise in therapeutic methodologies applicable to trauma-informed care.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
