Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to deeply understand product requirements, technology, and expected functionality
  • Develop a deep appreciation for both the user experience and the EvidenceCare's product value propositions
  • Take a direct role in the software development cycle and live customer support
  • Lead EvidenceCare's Product Quality efforts by designing and executing test plans.
  • Work with both existing product features and the newest development, taking responsibility for both unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Take ownership for identifying, triaging, prioritizing and resolving issues, including customer-reported problems
  • Engage with customers to not only resolve immediate issues but also to identify insights that can help prevent issues in the future
  • Maintain reliability and innovation while avoiding regressions,
  • Assess and anticipate risks; be proactive
  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks; apply LLMs to expand test coverage, surface anomalies, and improve observability across product and integration surfaces

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Ideal candidates will have a degree in software engineering, biomedical engineering, information systems, computer science, data science, statistics or other related discipline
  • Ability and interest in developing new testing frameworks, improving test quality
  • Committed to ensuring clinical end users see correct data and have the best possible user experience
  • Proven track record for successfully maintaining application quality

Useful Experience:

  • Creating and managing ticket queues for bug and customer support issues.
  • Writing SQL queries for data analysis and data quality review.
  • Working with clinical software, EHR/EMRs, and interface engines.
  • Familiarity with healthcare standards, especially HL7/FHIR, and healthcare code sets (e.g., LOINC, SNOMED, CPT, ICD-10).
  • API designs, web services, RESTful APIs, XML, JSON, and SOAP.
  • Writing automated test scripts using tools like Postman, Playwright, Selenium, etc.
  • Experience using LLMs as a development tool - for test generation, log analysis, or workflow automation
  • Hands-on use of LLM-based tools to automate or augment technical workflows
