• Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals, families, and groups dealing with a variety of emotional and behavioral issues, employing evidence-based practices to enhance client outcomes.
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and case management evaluations to tailor intervention strategies to meet identified client needs effectively.
• Collaborate with the practitioner team to identify and de-escalate risk situations, ensuring client safety and adherence to mandatory reporting protocols.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to reflect changes in circumstance or new insights.
• Stay informed of safeguarding policies and actively participate in embedding these standards into daily operations and service delivery.
• Utilize data collection and feedback mechanisms to assess the efficacy of interventions, recommending adjustments to improve service delivery.
• Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings to discuss individual client cases, safeguarding issues, and service enhancements.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Altura Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges, including those dealing with substance use/abuse issues. You will empower clients to navigate their personal journeys through counseling and advocacy while providing access to valuable resources within the community.

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university is required, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practice.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting, demonstrating capability in case management and therapeutic interventions.
• Proficient in conducting psychosocial histories and implementing case management evaluations, including expertise in interview techniques and suicide risk assessments.

• Experience in community health settings or with populations affected by substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data collection methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across varied disciplines, showing flexibility and a client-centered approach in all initiatives.
