Job description

Sales Rep (Smart Foundation Technology), D2C, setter/closer model

W‐2 | 100% Commission | Vehicle Allowance | Houston, TX

About the Role

Slabsure is hiring experienced in‐home sales closers to represent our patented Smart foundation technology to homeowners in high‐risk soil and movement areas across Houston.

This is a technical, consultative sale - not a foundation repair emergency pitch. You’ll run pre‐set, geographically targeted appointments, conduct in‐home evaluations, explain foundation movement concepts, take and interpret elevation readings, and close homeowners using our proven, scripted process.

If you’re a proven closer in foundation repair, solar, or other technical home services - and you’re confident running credibility‐based conversations inside the home - this role is built for you.

What This Role Is

  • W‐2, commission‐only position
  • In‐home, face‐to‐face consultations
  • 3+ appointments per day
  • Setters prepare appointments, you focus on the close
  • 15% commission per sale
  • Expectation: ~20 sales per month
  • 30‐day review, 60‐day performance decision (seasonally adjusted)

Schedule flexibility.

You control your income.
You’re paid on results - not hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Run pre‐set in‐home appointments with homeowners
  • Conduct technical discussions around foundation movement and prevention
  • Use elevation reading equipment and interpret results with live support, if needed.
  • Follow Slabsure’s scripted closing process
  • Present contract options (3‐year vs 5‐year)
  • Close deals and submit completed documentation
  • Represent the Slabsure brand professionally in customers’ homes

Compensation

  • 100% commission
  • Tiered commission structure
    • Higher commission for higher‐value jobs
    • Higher commission for upfront and longer‐term contracts
  • Potential draw during ramp (experience‐based)
  • Vehicle allowance
  • No caps.

Who We’re Looking For

The strongest candidates typically meet most of the following:

  • Strong history closing deals, like D2D
  • Foundation repair sales experience
  • Technical in‐home home‐services closing (Solar, HVAC, roofing, etc.)
  • Ability to run technical, credibility‐based conversations
  • Comfort using measurement or diagnostic tools
  • Experience working from a scripted sales process
  • Familiarity with Houston soil / foundation conditions

Exception path:
We will consider a limited number of candidates with strong mechanical aptitude who can pass our rigorous in‐house training program.

Requirements

  • Valid Texas driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Background check & drug screening
  • Comfortable working inside occupied homes
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle light field equipment

This Role Is NOT for You If

  • You avoid technical conversations
  • You struggle to follow a defined sales process
  • You need a base salary or guaranteed income
  • You prefer remote or phone‐only sales
  • You’re uncomfortable with clear performance expectations
