What You'll Do
NetDocuments is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build the next generation of our cloud-based document management platform. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys building production-grade applications across the full stack while solving complex technical challenges that power secure, scalable web and mobile experiences. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software from concept through production. You'll contribute to architectural decisions, build resilient cloud-native applications, and help drive engineering excellence through collaboration, technical leadership, and continuous improvement.
You will:
Design & Build
  • Build and maintain production-grade full stack applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS technologies
  • Develop scalable backend services and modern frontend experiences that power secure web and mobile applications
  • Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets performance, security, and quality standards
  • Build and validate software across multiple environments throughout the development lifecycle

System Design & Architecture
  • Design and implement event-driven and service-oriented solutions
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Build solutions leveraging AWS services and SQL/NoSQL databases

What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications
  • Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Experience with C# preferred; Java experience also considered
  • Experience building modern frontend applications and scalable backend services
  • Strong experience designing and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with event-driven and service-oriented architectures
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS services and SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of distributed systems; experience with Kafka or similar event streaming technologies is a plus
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services
  • Experience implementing application monitoring, logging, and observability
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms

Compensation Transparency
The compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $155,000
The posted cash compensation includes on-target earnings. Some roles may qualify for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
