• Utilize active listening and empathetic communication to foster responsive parenting skills among caregivers, ensuring they feel heard and understood in relation to their family values and individual concerns.
• Implement and adapt various treatment modalities to address a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, coping with end-of-life issues, and managing addictions. You will also support clients dealing with chronic pain, acute injuries, and complex interpersonal challenges.
• Conduct thorough consultations with colleagues and other professionals, promoting integration of psychological insights and compassionate care approaches to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulatory standards to promote continuity of care and support quality assurance initiatives.

Your work will primarily focus on families with young children navigating the complexities of detox and recovery from substance use disorders, ensuring culturally competent care that respects diverse backgrounds. You will be instrumental in guiding caregivers through the challenges they face, equipping them with the skills needed to foster healthier familial relationships and enhance their children's emotional well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, specifically qualifying you for independent practice.
• Must hold a current independent license to practice in Washington State as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in mental health care, particularly with diverse populations.
• Demonstrated experience and/or willingness to work effectively with families of young children.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of clients and changing circumstances in a remote working environment.

• Experience in a detox or addiction recovery setting is preferred, enhancing your effectiveness in addressing the specific needs of our clients.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices, providing sensitive, client-centered approaches that foster healing.
• Proficiency with telehealth systems and virtual therapy practices, ensuring engagement and continuity of care.
