Job description

The Opportunity:

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. ("SEL") seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Enterprise Software Engineer position located at our headquarters in Pullman, Washington.

Enterprise Software Engineer (Multiple Openings)

Responsibilities:

The Enterprise Software Engineer develops the specifications, designs, implements, and documents a wide range of software and automation products developed by the company. He or she will also perform systems analysis and design together with data analysis and design. The incumbent will apply the principles of software and computer engineering and computer science to: (1) understand user requirements; (2) design solutions; (3) validate designs; (4) prepare and maintain test and design documentation; (5) conduct user studies; (6) design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain SEL's Business Systems; (7) make software recommendations to management; (8) devise and modify procedures to solve problems taking into consideration computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results; (9) prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written; (10) provide project management, task leadership and training for project team members as may be needed; (11) participate in industry technical meetings and conferences as required to meet operational and strategic goals; (12) stay abreast of industry developments relative to computer services; and (13) follow and improve the company's Information Services processes.

These positions will be based out of the company's headquarters in Pullman, Washington. These positions require regular on-site work at the Pullman office and do not permit remote work or work-from-home arrangements.

Salary Range: $92,500.00 to $98,500.00 per year
