We are seeking a collaborative Software Engineer to join one of our diverse, multicultural Engineering teams. Requirements:

  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms.

  • Three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer building and maintaining a SaaS application.
  • Experience maintaining, building, and optimizing REST APIs.
  • Strong background in Python development.
  • Experience with CI/CD (e.g. Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience working with a team of engineers and product managers in delivering a product to end-users.
  • Responsible, team-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Excellent communication skills in English - both written and spoken.

Preferred:
  • Experience with cloud computing environments (E.g., AWS)
  • Experience with modern Python frameworks and technologies, such as Django, FastAPI, Flask, SQLAlchemy.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML models into production codebases.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered developer tools to accelerate software development lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering or LLM-based API integrations.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is US $102,000 to $135,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Bitsight's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus or commission plan and an equity grant. Bitsight also offers a competitive benefits package, including but not but limited to medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave; flexible time off; a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities; life and disability insurance; and tuition reimbursement.
